CS Pulse

Ways in

Everyone starts as a member.

Three tiers, one starting point. Membership is a short form and a quick review, free. Seats in a Room are applied for, one Room at a time.

01

Community member

Where you start, and where most of the value already is.

  • Recaps and takeaways from every session, including Rooms you were not in.
  • Prep material and discussion before each Room runs.
  • First access to seats when applications open.
  • The peer group. People serious about the craft, not collecting connections.
  • Everything built next. Mock interviews, playbook teardowns, hot seats, portfolio reviews.
02

Session participant

Five seats a Room. You apply, you do not register.

A first-come link fills a room with whoever was online at eleven in the morning. Applications get read against the scenario, so a Room ends up with a spread of experience rather than five people in the same seat.

  • Three or more years in CS as the baseline. Strong applicants below that get read case by case.
  • Applications open two weeks out, close one week out.
  • Everyone hears back, yes or no.
  • The brief arrives 48 hours before. Read it.

Core contributor

Runs the Rooms in the domain they work in.

Contributors design the scenarios and lead the conversation. Practitioners with earned, specific opinions, not consultants with a deck. Rooms are proposed, reviewed within a week, and dated at least thirty days out.

If you have a domain you know deeply and strong views on it, that is a short email.

What it asks of you

Not much, honestly.

You fill out a short interest form, about three to four minutes. We review it, not to be gatekeepers for the sake of it, but because a small, tight community only works if everyone in it actually belongs there. If it is a match, you are in.

After that: show up when something relevant comes up. Apply for Rooms when the topic is your thing. Bring your real experience, not just your questions.

There is no mandatory attendance, no monthly call you have to be on, no content quota to hit.

Is this for you

Probably, if you take the job seriously.

A fit if you work in Customer Success, you are tired of advice that has never been tested in a real account, and you want a peer group that challenges you, not just validates you.

Not a fit if you are looking for somewhere to promote something, you would rather lurk indefinitely, or you prefer watching a webinar to being in the conversation.

No judgment either way. Nobody pays to be in a Room and nobody pays to be a member.

Want in? Tell us three things.

What you do in CS and how long you have been doing it. What made you want to join. What CS topic or challenge you are working through right now. That is all we need to get started.
